ちぎり餅は切る時に手でちぎるので、縁起が良いそうです。
雛祭りの時には、ひなあられや金平糖等を盛ります。
春には、旬の山菜等を盛り付けしたり、珍味れとしてご使用いただけます。
小さい器ですがどっしり重い割れにくい器です。

A bowl for torn mochi rice cakes.
This bowl is used as a small dish during the Hina Matsuri (Girls' Festival) season.
Tearing mochi rice cakes by hand is considered auspicious.
During Hina Matsuri, it is used to serve hina arare (rice crackers) and konpeito (sugar candy).
In spring, it can be used to serve seasonal wild vegetables or as a delicacy.
Although it is a small bowl, it is heavy and durable.
*Please note that the color is uneven due to the Kouchi ware technique; this is a characteristic of Kouchi ware.
